Mo is a Partner in the Family Department, specialising in Public Law care proceedings. She is instructed by parents or acts for the children through their Court appointed Guardian.
Mo was involved in a case which resulted in a change to the way Children and Adult Services work together to support parents who suffers from a learning disability. Mo represented a mother in care proceedings through the Official Solicitor due to the mother’s learning disability. She instructed Queens Counsel for the mother to challenge the assessment process and support she was entitled to.
Mo has recently been instructed directly by teenage children in complex care proceedings where the children were competent to instruct a solicitor and wished to challenge their care plans.
She also represents parents and children in Private Law proceedings involving disputes between family members concerning the care of children.
Mo is accredited by the Law Society Children’s Panel and Resolution and is Chair of the Lincoln Child Contact Centre Committee.
