The law dealing with civil partnerships, is relatively new and as such is changing with every new Court decision. In 2019 civil partnerships were extended to heterosexual couples.

Those in a civil partnership benefit from similar rights as married couples, and upon dissolution similar entitlements apply to those getting divorced.

Faced with pressures to sign a clean break order, that would leave me with marital debts, I was put in contact with Michelle Cooper.
