Lauren is a Senior Solicitor specialising in all aspects of Local Authority proceedings where Social Services are involved as well as Private Law Children proceedings.
Lauren is an experienced solicitor who regularly represents individuals who are in the most need of representation whether that be due to Social Services being involved, as survivors of domestic abuse or due to complex issues arising from the breakdown of their relationship resulting in a dispute over the arrangements for their children.
Lauren can provide advice and representation regarding the following:-
Public Law Proceedings - Care Proceedings, Public Law Outline (PLO), Kinship Assessments, Special Guardianship Orders and Child Protection planning.
Private Law Children Matters - Child Arrangement Orders, Prohibited Steps Orders and Specific Issue Orders.
Emergency Injunctions - Non-Molestation Orders and protection from domestic abuse.
Lauren works very closely with domestic abuse support services in South Yorkshire to ensure clients receive swift advice and the protection of the Court as well as being able to access practical and emotional support.
Lauren undertakes a lot of her own advocacy representing her clients before different levels of the Judiciary. She will always represent her clients to the highest standard and provide an understanding and empathetic approach to client’s individual circumstances, striving to deliver clear advice and support throughout.
She is a member of the Law Society Children Panel demonstrating her expertise and commitment to all aspects of Children Law - and is a long standing and proud member of Resolution, strongly believing in its core principles to approach family disputes in a constructive and non-confrontational manner and to help guide you through the difficulties of such proceedings.
