Helen Derry is a Partner and Head of the Family Department
Helen became Head of the Family Department in 2018 and now manages one of the largest Family Law Practices in the East Midlands with over 100 team members over 18 regional offices.
With over 25 years’ practising as a Family Law Solicitor, Helen has gained considerable experience of all aspects of divorce and separation. Helen now specialises in Family Mediation having become an accredited Mediator in 1999. Helen also specialises in pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements.
Helen was responsible for successfully bidding against a number of national organisations for the DWP funded Moving Forward project which provided help and support for separating families. She designed, with a leading psychologist, a programme which supported over 2500 people.
Helen is accredited by the Law Society Mediation Panel and Resolution Specialist Panel. She is also a Legal 500 Recommended Lawyer.
