Carla is a Paralegal in our Boston Family Law Team.
Carla assists Solicitor Esther McGillivray with Public Law Care Proceedings issued by the Local Authority. She drafts documents and letters, handles Legal Aid applications, meets with clients and attends Court with Counsel.
She can also provide legal advice to parents involved with the Local Authority during the Pre-Proceedings process and represent parents at Pre-Proceedings meetings.
Carla achieved a Distinction in her Paralegal Apprenticeship. She holds a CILEX Paralegal qualification and a Certificate of Higher Education in Legal Practice from BPP University.
Her supervisor is Helen Derry.
