Aleks is an Associate Solicitor. She offers practical and commercial advice to both employers and employees on all aspects of employment law and has experience working with private companies, from SMEs to PLCs, public sector organisations and charities across the UK.
She has a very high success rate at representing clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings and handles claims from start to finish. She has also negotiated many favourable and significant settlements, for both employees and employers.
She regularly represents clients on matters including discrimination, unfair dismissal and wrongful dismissal.
Day to day she provides assistance and advice on all aspects of employment law, including drafting contracts of employment, policies and procedures, advising on disciplinaries and grievances, managing sickness absence, redundancies and restructures, varying terms and conditions of employment and Settlement Agreements. Aleks prides herself on providing thorough and timely advice and working with clients to find a commercially workable solution.
Additionally, Aleks delivers bespoke training to HR professionals and managers, giving them all the tools necessary to avoid unwanted Employment Tribunal claims and is a regular speaker at events.
