2024 has been an excellent year for legal award wins for the team at Sills & Betteridge, but our latest triumph recognises our commitment as a business, to reducing our carbon footprint.
One of our current ambitions is to achieve a 75% reduction in paper consumption by the end of 2025, in order to help reduce tree loss, production pollution and disposal pollution - and one of the key efficiencies enabling this goal is the use of Zylpha legal document bundling software.
We have been using Zylpha since 2019 and chose the product due to its versatility, and security and compliance credentials.
Zylpha recently announced the winners of their annual Innovation Awards and selected Legal Assistant Amy Comrie as their winner of the Outstanding Individual Achievement category, which is awarded to an individual who has ‘gone above and beyond, providing insightful feedback and championing Zylpha’s bundling software among peers’. Amy assists Nottingham Family Law Partner Dominic Lee and has produced an impressive 250 Court bundles during the last 12 months, against an industry standard of 50.
Reflecting on this year’s winners, Zylpha’s CEO, Tim Long, remarked
“It’s inspiring to see how our clients use the platform to streamline their processes and enhance efficiency. These awards are our way of expressing gratitude for their commitment and collaboration in making affordable legal software solutions accessible to all.”
Sills & Betteridge IT Director Liam Osborne agreed
“The use of Zylpha legal document bundling has greatly helped our aim of reducing paper consumption. Amy Comrie's outstanding achievement in producing 250 Court bundles in the last 12 months is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our team. We are proud to support such initiatives that go hand in hand with enhancing our operational efficiency to contribute to a more sustainable future."
A final word from Amy herself
"I wish to express my deepest gratitude for being selected as the recipient of the Outstanding Individual Achievement Award. It validates the hard work and dedication I have put into my role at Sills & Betteridge LLP, and I am inspired to continue contributing my best work and upholding the values that this award signifies. Using Zylpha is an efficient way to reduce the amount of paper we use which is undoubtedly a way of helping the environment. It makes document organisation quick and easy, which is better for us and more cost effective for our clients".
